SEND Creative Workshops
I design workshops and opportunities that centre joy, wellbeing and connection through play and creativity. My work creates safe, inclusive spaces for social interaction, sensory exploration and meaningful engagement. I design and deliver bespoke workshops for SEND communities, drawing on interesting objects to create playful, process-led experiences. Each session is carefully shaped using Intensive Interaction techniques, Makaton, and symbol and object support.

Multi-sensory approaches
My workshops have a multisensory approach, working across art forms to bring new and engaging experiences to SEND participants. Sessions may include elements of nature, food, music, movement, fabrics and everyday objects, such as herbs, fans, umbrellas and light, to stimulate curiosity, exploration and connection.
Creating SEND-Accessible Resources
I design and develop accessible creative resources for SEND audiences, working collaboratively with artists, filmmakers and organisations.
I curated a series of six short films commissioned by United by Charity, created to share inclusive creative practice ideas with families, carers, schools and organisations.
My role included leading the research and planning process, recruiting artists, coordinating with the filmmaker, and gathering audience feedback. I ensured each film used clear language, appropriate imagery, and accessible communication approaches, including symbol supports.
All resources were carefully designed to be accessible, affordable, practical and safe, enabling carers, schools and organisations to confidently deliver the activities.
